Abstract
1. Superplastic deformation improves the uniformity of distribution of W, V, Mo, and Cr in the high speed steels R6M5 and 10R6M5-MP. 2. The degree of uniformity of distribution of alloying additives depends on the initial (liquation) nonuniformity of the steel and on the level of SPD which characterizes the activity of the occurring diffusion processes.
