Abstract

The effect of structure in the electronic density of states on the temperature dependence of the phonon renormalized electron mass and electronic specific heat coefficient is calculated in the energy space representation. Results are presented for the APW density of states of palladium and for a model density of states for V 3Ga. Comparisons are made to the free electron results.
