Abstract

1. It was established that it is possible to increase the ultimate tensile strength of alloys VT3-1, VT22, and VT15 to 150 kgf/mm2 and higher by quenching and aging under optimal conditions. 2. Alloys with σb≥150kgf/mm2 may have satisfactory ductility and very high fatigue limit and lowcycle fatigue strength, although their notch sensitivity is high. 3. The ductility, fatigue limit, and low-cycle fatigue strength are highest for alloy VT22 with the critical composition, which is due to the characteristics of its structure.
