Abstract

Using 4×4 transfer matrix method, the effect of stress-induced anisotropy on localized mode has been investigated. It is found that the change of the crystal thickness caused by stress, would leads localized modes to move linearly in the transmission spectrum. Further study confirmed that anisotropy causing by elastic-optic effect enhances or suppresses this effect.
