Abstract
1. At sufficiently high stress gradients in the structural steels, the ratio of the endurance limits σ−1/τ−1 may assume values well below unity. 2. A dependence was proposed for calculating, from the known effective factors of concentration of the normal Kσ and tangential Kτ stresses, the total stress concentration factor Kc in the complicated stress state for any ratio of the stress state components τ/σ.
