Abstract

In this study, we address the effect of concentration of the stabilizing agent, viz. trisodium citrate for tailoring the particle size and size distribution of silver nanoparticles produced via wet chemical method. The synthesized silver nanoparticles have been characterized by different structural and compositional characterization tools. The concentration of the stabilizing agent has been varied in different experimental runs and optimized to get stable particles with a mean size of 7 nm and a narrow size distribution.
