Abstract

The study was conducted in one of the greenhouses in the research station in Al-Bu’itha area of the College of Agriculture - University of Anbar during the growing season 2021-2022 to investigate the effect of spraying the growth regulators Brassinolide (BR) (0, 0.1 and 0.2 mg L−1) and Thidiazuron (TDZ) (1 and 2 mg L−1) were found, respectively, in the chemical content of leaves and pods of three hybrids (Abeer, Lotus and OkraF1). The results showed that the two treatments spraying Brassinolide at a concentration of 0.2 mg L−1 and spraying TDZ at a concentration of 2 mg L−1 were superior in all studied traits, while the hybrid Abeer was superior to the rest of the hybrids in the percentage of nitrogen 3.449%, phosphorus 0.416% and potassium 1.722%, carbohydrates 4.535%, the percentage of nitrogen in the pods 3.427%, and protein 21.42%. The interaction between the factors of the study had a positive effect on all the studied traits.
