Abstract

A theory of the carrier thermal conductivity for electron-antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations scattering has been developed and on this basis the experimental results of polycrystalline YBa 2Cu 3O 8 have been interpreted. Our theoretical analysis fits the experimental results excellently and suggests that the antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations affect the carrier thermal conductivity of polycrystalline YBa 2Cu 3O 8.
