Abstract

The texture specificities of the recrystallization of rolled aluminum wire were investigated using orientation microscopy (EBSD). The strict crystal-geometric relations between the deformational orientations and recrystallization orientations are a consequence of the dominant role of special misorientations (the special boundaries close to Σ25b in the lattice model of coinciding nodes - the CSL model) in the structural transformations were shown.
