Abstract

Concrete is an element that is needed in various kinds of civil engineering building construction. This research aims to investigate the effect of adding soybean waste ash on the compressive strength of concrete. Soybean waste ash content used in manufacturing concrete samples was 0%, 3%, 6%, and 9%. The planned compressive strength is 20 MPa. In this study, 9 samples of each test object were made with a cylindrical mold size of 15cm X 30cm. The compressive strength test was carried out when the concrete was 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days. It was concluded that the concrete with the added material of soybean waste ash increased in each test age. The maximum concrete compressive strength occurs at 28 days with 6% soybean waste ash content, with concrete compressive strength of 27.30 MPa.
