Abstract
Protonation equilibria of L-glutamine and succinic acid are investigated in 0-60% (v/v) aquo-acetonitrile media at an ionic strength of 0.1 mol dm - 3 and temperature 303 K. The best fit chemical models are arrived at using MINIQUAD75 based on statistical parameters. The change in protonation constants with the dielectric constant of the medium is attributed to the electrostatic and non-electrostatic forces.
