Abstract

The effect of additions of neutral extractants on the cation-exchange separation of metal cations of different charges is analyzed. It is shown and confirmed experimentally that, during nonspecific and exhaustive solvation, an increase in the concentration of the solvating addition is favorable to the extraction of low-charge metal cations into the organic phase.
