Seventy-two patients had received digoxin; 7 received other preparations. Glycoside concentration was highly correlated with serum digoxin levels (L) : L = 0.185C -0.416 (P < 0.001). Toxicity was defined as nausea, vomiting, or any new arrhythmia that improved or disappeared when digitalis was stopped.Forty-six patients (58%) had no toxicity; their glycoside concentration averaged 15.4...
