Abstract
As part of the qualification testing and quality control program for the University of California Residential Building Systems (URBS) project, a field test mockup building was constructed. This facility was designed so that the test walls, having nominal ratings of 40 and 50 STC, could be measured in three different room sizes similar to those of future dormatories without disturbing the test wall to effect the change in room size. The results of the measurements will be shown and the differences discussed.
