Abstract

AbstractForced nonuniform oscillations of the magnetic moment in a ferromagnetic film are considered, taking into account relaxation, dipole, and exchange interactions under various boundary conditions for the magnetization. Equations of the resonance frequencies of the spin wave oscillations are obtained, taking into account the losses for normally and tangentially magnetized films. Some criteria of the diecernibility of the resonance absorption maxima depending on spin wave resonance phenomena have been found. The concept of the film critical thickness L, has been introduced. The film properties at L > Lc are shown to have practically no differences from those of bulk ferrite slabs on microwave frequencies.
