Abstract
Background and Significance: Ovidrel® is a recombinant human Chorionic Gonadotropin (r-hCG) that is now available as an alternative to urinary human Chorionic Gonadotropin (u-hCG) for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and ovulation induction cycles. Early studies suggested no difference in using either 250 μg or 500 μg of r-hCG, but our preliminary experience with both doses showed an increase in pregnancy rates with the higher r-hCG dose.
