Abstract

The form of Zeeman lines in the presence of a resonant rotating r.f. magnetic field is determined. The spontaneous emission distributions are obtained from the steady-state solutions, leading to a prediction of the splitting of Zeeman lines at rotation frequencies corresponding to well separated single- and multiple-quantum resonance frequencies, as well as at the resonance frequency in the Majorana case.
