Abstract

Anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG) induction therapy is supposed to reduce the incidence of acute cellular rejection (ACR), which is associated with inferior outcomes in lung transplantation (LTx). However, according to the different types and dosage of ATG, there is no consensus on its efficacy and safety. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of rabbit ATG induction on the incidence of ACR and infection complications during the first year after LTx.
