Abstract

This study is based on the theory of “acupuncture technique metrology” and explores the effect of acupuncture technique on lipid reduction in obese rats. After applying a new and improved acupuncture method — quantitative pulling and inserting acupuncture techniques — to rats, we found that it can alter the expression of FFAR4 receptors and inflammatory factors in obese rats. The results showed that after intervention, the FFA, IL-6, and TNF-[Formula: see text] of the quantitative lifting and inserting group and the acupuncture lifting and inserting group had significant decrease, significant increase in HDL-C and FFAR4 concentrations, and significant changes in various indicators in the quantitative lifting group compared to the acupuncture lifting group. Therefore, we believe that the quantitative lifting and insertion techniques used in this study can provide a reference for the clinical treatment of obesity and provide certain data for quantifiable acupuncture and moxibustion equipment.
