Abstract

Objective To improve the quality of pre-hospital care in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) by quality control circle (QCC) . Methods From August 2016 to February 2017, the QCC activity on the theme of the quality of pre-hospital care for patients with acute was carried out in Zhengzhou Central Hospital. The factors influencing the pre-hospital treatment of 79 patients with acute STEMI were investigated. In addition, the reasons were analyzed, so as to formulate and implement the corresponding countermeasures. The rate of bypass and the change of site disposal time in patients with acute STEMI were observed. Results After the QCC activity, the bypass rate of the pre-hospital patients with STEMI increased from 58.2% to 91.7%, and the site disposal time was shortened from 42.1 min to 29.3 min, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05) . Conclusions QCC activity has an obvious effect on improving the quality of pre-hospital care in patients with STEMI, which significantly increases the bypass rate and greatly shortens the site disposal time. At the same time, it improves the comprehensive quality of QCC activity team members.
