Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of prophylactic pump infusion of methoxamine on hemorheology of subarachnoid block anesthesia cesarean section and neontal. Methods One hundred and six cases of elective cesarean section were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 53 cases in each group. Two groups of puerpera were treated with the implementation of spider subarachnoid anesthesia, while the study group was treated with methoxamine infusion with micro-pump prophylacticly additionally. Two groups of maternal adverse reactions were calculated, and at T0 (before anesthesia), T1 (1 min after anesthesia ), T2 (3 min after anesthesia), T3 (fetal disengagement), T4 (1 min after delivery), T5 (3 min after delivery), T6 (after operation), the heart rate (HR) and systolic blood pressure (SBP), T0, T1, T4 blood rheology indexes(plasma viscosity, whole blood high shear viscositg, medium shear viscosity, low shear viscosity) level between the puerperae of the two groups, and neonatal blood gas index[pH, arterial partial partial pressuve of oxygen (PaO2), arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PaCO2)], Apgar scores of the two groups were compared. Results The differences of T0, T1, T2, T6 SBP and T0, T3, T6 HR level were not statistically significant between the two groups(P>0.05). Compared with the control group, T3, T4, T5 SBP levels of the study group were significantly higher, T1, T2, T4, T5 HR levels in study group were significantly lower, the differences were statistically significant (P 0.05). At T1, T4, compared with the control group, the patients of study group had significantly lower hemorheology indicators levels, the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). The difference of bradycardia, nausea and vomiting between the two groups was not satistically significant(P>0.05). Compared with the control group, the incidence of hypotension before and after delivery in the study group was significantly lower, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Cesarean section with subarachnoid block anesthesia treated by methoxamine prophylactic pump infusion, can significantly reduce the incidence of intraoperative hypotension, improve maternal blood hem orheolvgy indicators, and will not affect the health of newborns and blood gas index, so it has important significance in clinical appcication Key words: Methoxamine; Subarachnoid block anesthesia; Cesarean section; Hemorheology
