Abstract

Abstract The effect of pressure on the Curie temperature T c of Fe 3 Pt alloys having different degree of order (= S ) has been studied by measuring the electrical resistance under high pressure. It is found that T c increases with increasing S but its pressure derivative | ∂T c / ∂P | decreases with S .
