Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of prenatal diagnosis on birth defects intervention in perinatal infants.Methods According to the pregnant women for prenatal diagnosis in our hospital,the related factors influencing birth defects and prenatal diagnosis to the influence of the incidence of birth defects were analyzed.Results Of 3125 infants born in our hospital,50 had birth defects,accounting for 16.00 ‰.After prenatal diagnosis,a total of 17 infants of termination of pregnancy and live birth infants at term of birth defects was 10.56 per thousand,as compared with the former,with a significant difference (P<0.05).Maternal residence,maternal age,and number of fetus associated with the incidence of birth defects (P<0.05).Conclusions Prenatal diagnosis for the pregnant woman is conducive to early detection of serious birth defects,it also can make a decision to terminate pregnancy in the pregnant women,and promote the improvement of the quality of social population.It is worth popularizing clinically and further studying.
