Summary

Introduction

Sexuality is an important part of health and well-being[2]. According to the World Health Organization, safe sexual experiences cannot be only defined as the absence of sexual dysfunction, but as a state of physical, emotional, mental, and social well- being related to sexuality[3]. Throughout the gestational period, in addition to the strong influence of hormones, emotional changes may occur in life style, and these may affect the expression of sexual desires and sexual behavior[13]. Both the woman and her partner may worry about complications during pregnancy as a result of sexual activity[14]
