Abstract

The effect of polymerization parameters such as polymerization time, temperature, pressure and the amount of catalyst amount in CO2-cyclohexene copolymerizations with double metal cyanide (DMC) catalyst were investigated in detail. Especially, the effect of polymerization conditions on the polydispersity index (PDI) and glass transition temperature (Tg) were deeply examined. Increases in polymerization time, pressure, temperature and the amount of catalyst in feed increased the activity of the DMC catalyst. The molecular weight (MW), PDI and glass transition temperature (Tg) were affected by the polymerization time, temperature, pressure and the amount of catalyst in the feed.
