Abstract

Samples of structured carbon particles have been obtained with a high concentration of functional oxygen-containing groups on their surfaces. The introduction of an SCP with plasmochemically modified surfaces raises adhesive strength of polyamide-6 based coatings used for tribological purposes. The mechanism of interactions between the modified surface of the carbon filler and the polyamide matrix is proposed.
