Abstract

Objective To study the significance of the change of platelet count for the degree of necrosis and prognosis of severe acute pancreatitis. Methods The 223 cases of SAP treated in our hospital from January 2005 to December 2006 were divided into group of decreases of platelet count ( 0.05). Conclu-sion Platelet count decrease is of certain clinical significance for judging severity of pancreatitis, pan-reatic necrosis and predicting its prognosis.
