Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during the summer season of 1994 and 1995 to study the effect of phosphate fertilization, P solubilizer and plant population on yield and quality of summer groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.). The pod yield was significantly higher under 75 kg P,O ha application along with P solubilizer and with a population density of 0.33 million plantslha (30 cm x 10 cm). Similarly, higher protein percentage and oil content were also observed with 0.33 millionlha, P solubilizer and 75 kg P,O ha.
