Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of health education (HE) in health care during maternal perinatal period (MPP). Methods A total of 138 pregnant women who received antenatal examination in our hospital from January 2015 to March 2016 were randomly divided into two groups according to the digital table method. 69 cases in the control group were given routine perinatal health education; 69 cases in the observation group were given whole course personalized perinatal health education intervention on the basis of the control group. Compared maternal nursing intervention effect of the two groups. Results The first stage of labor, the second stage of labor, the total stage of labor of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group (P 0.05). The rate of natural delivery in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (79.71% vs.59.42%, P<0.05). The incidences of mild and severe neonatal asphyxia in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (χ2=7.273 1, 6.900 0; P<0.05). The scores of BF, RF, EF, CF, SF, OHS of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The perinatal maternal health education can effectively improve the rate of natural delivery, shorten the stages of labor, ensure the health of the mother and child, and improve the quality of life of the pregnant women.
