Abstract

In a two-dimensional (2D) dusty plasma system, the size ofparticles is considered under two different interparticlepotentials (Yukawa potential and Dressed potential). The structuraland dynamical characters are investigated by moleculardynamics simulation respectively. The results show that the 2Dsystems via Yukawa and Dressed potentials have a different criticalcoupling constant Γ corresponding to the systems beginning tocoagulate and exhibit different crystal configurations. Also we findthat the size of particles has littleinfluence on the 2D system's structure characters.
