Abstract

Effect of ozone on photosynthesis and seed yield of sensitive (S156) and resistant (R123) Phaseolus vulgaris L. genotypes in open-top chambers. O3 is at present the most important phytotoxic air pollutant and causes more damage to plants world-wide than all other pollutants combined. The present study represent an in depth biochemical study of the influence of O3 on the growth and development of dry bean plants.
