Abstract

A generalized theory is developed to calculate the effects of M r , H c , bias current, coating thickness and anhysteretic linearity on Maximum Output Level in long-wavelength AC bias recording. The results are compared with data of .15 audio tapes. Is has been found, that the type of powder and orientation ratio are sources of variation of anhysteretic linearity.
