Abstract
A laboratory experiment was conducted to study the behavior of copper in gypsum soils of different organic sources through a number of experiences, and knowledge of copper adsorption and release conditions in it, and used three equations physicochemical Langmuir, Freundlich, and Temkin. It was adopted The coefficient of determination (R2 ) is a better choice equation to describe the adsorption of copper, the results showed that the Langmuir equation was enough for the description and evaluation of copper adsorption compared to the rest of the physicochemical equations used according to the highest coefficient of determination R2, and the efficiency of R2 was (92, 87, 65) % for each of the Langmuir and Freundlich equations and Temkin, respectively.
