To the Editor: The prognoses for Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN) patients are known to be affected by old age.1 However, the effect of older age on hospital complications and inpatient mortality is primarily limited to results from small studies of SJS/TEN patients.1,2
