Abstract
Ochratoxin A (OTA) and aristolochic acid (AA) effects on cell viability and cytokine synthesis was analysed in an intestinal epithelial porcine cell line. The highest dose of OTA and AA (>1ug/mL) induce a significant (P<0.05) c\decrease of cell viability, OTA and AA has little or no effect on IL-8 synthesis but induces a decrease of the synthesis of TNF alpha and IL-1 beta.
