Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of nursing diet combined with exercise intervention on nutritional status and quality of life in patients with alzheimer's disease and cardiovascular disease. Methods A total of 90 cases of patients with senile dementia and cardiovascular disease from July 2012 to June 2016 were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table, 45 cases of each group.The control group was given routine nursing guidance, and the observation group was given combined exercise intervention with nursing diet control.The intervention lasted six months. Nutritional status and quality of life improvement before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results The levels of body mass index(BMI), fasting blood glucose(FPG), postprandial blood glucose(2 hFPG), total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05), while the levels of total protein of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). The scores of physiology, social relations, psychological field, environment and total quality of life of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusions Nursing diet combined with exercise intervention can effectively improve the nutritional status of Alzheimer's disease patients with cardiovascular disease and improve the quality of life of patients.
