Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy of Zusanli acupoint injection of neostigmine combined with music therapy in the treatment of postpartum urine retention.Methods 86 patients with postpartum urinary retention in our hospital between July 2011 and August 2012 were randomly divided into a study group (43 patients) and a control group (43 patients).The study group was treated with Zusanli acupoint injection of neostigmine combined with music therapy; while the control group received Zusanli acupoint injection of neostigmine alone.Results The study group had 40 patients with successful urination,with a cure rate of 93％; and the control group had 31 with successful urination,with a cure rate of 72％.There were significant differences (P＜0.05).Conclusions Zusanli acupoint injection of neostigmine with music therapy is efficacious in the treatment of postpartum urine retention.
