Abstract
Chinese hamster cells V- 79 were treated with neocarzinostatin. The survival curve was made up of two components, the first with D 0 of 0·025 μg/ml and the second with D 0 of 0·05 μg/ml. When a correction for cell multiplicity is made, the first component was an exponential dose relation curve. The dose fractionation for 1-hr intervals and 6-hr intervals did not increase the survival. This illustrates that recovery of the Elkind type did not exist for neocarzinostatin.
