Abstract

The problem of interaction of a liquid metal drop with a porous substrate is studied. The proposed model takes into account the capillary and adhesive properties of the melt. In this paper, numerical calculations of the influence of the concentration of nanopowder inoculators on the geometric dimensions of the formed splat (solidified liquid particle) and the depth of penetration of the liquid into the substrate are carried out on the basis of this model.
