Abstract
Experimental data of the grain size of Nb 3Sn multifilamentary superconductors produced by the bronze technique have been collected. A step-by-step regression analysis of the relation between the Nb 3Sn grain size and six process parameters has been made using a TQ-16 digit computer. An optimum regression mathematical model for calculating Nb 3Sn grain size has been obtained, and the main and secondary metallurgical factors affecting the Nb 3Sn grain size have been found.
