Abstract
Relatively little is known about the effects of mercurial compounds on the morphology of erythorocytes in fresh water teleosts. Previous reports have shown that mercury caused hemolytic anemia. The purpose of this investigation was to study the effect of inorganic mercury on the morphology of erythrocytes in a freshwater fish, Anabas scandens Cuv. and Val.
