Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) H19 on the proliferation and migration of non-small cell lung cancer cell lines A549 and H1299. Methods Fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the expression of H19 in A549, H1299 and human bronchial epithelial cell line HBE.After si-H19 was transfected into cells by lipo3000, CCK-8 and EdU assays were used to detect the cell proliferation rate, transwell assay was used to detect the cell migration rate. Results Compared with HBE cell line, the expression of H19 was increased in A549 and H1299 cells. The cell proliferation and migration rates were decreased when H19 was knockdown. Conclusions H19 level is increased in non-small cell lung cancer cell lines A549 and H1299, and it modulates proliferation and migration of cells. Key words: Non-small cell lung cancer; Long non-coding RNA; H19; Cell proliferation; Cancer migration
