Abstract

Studying the effect of leading-edge parameters of 30P30N on aerodynamic characteristic was carried out. Effect of changing the gap and overlap of the slat of the airfoil were mainly investigated. Numerical simulation was applied to obtain aerodynamic characteristics, results show that: the lift coefficient in the linear segment basically does not change with the gap, the drag coefficient decreases with change of the gap. The overlap and gap of slat have obvious effect on the lift-to-drag ratio. The smaller the gap between slat and fixed wing, the greater the lift-to-drag ratio is achieved. With the increase of overlap between slat and fixed wing, lift to drag ratio increases.
