Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct influence of empirical and indirect influence of leadership variables, training, human resource competencies, work motivation, and employee performance. This study uses 185 employees of PT Graha Resik Batam as a research sample. The data obtained were analyzed using path analysis with the help of SPSS 21 software. The results obtained: leadership has a significant influence on work motivation, training has a significant effect on work motivation, human resource competence has a significant influence on motivation, leadership has influence which is significant to employee performance, training has a significant effect on employee performance, human resources competence has a significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, leadership has no significant effect on employee performance through work motivation. This means that work motivation does not vary between variables in mediating leadership relationships on employee performance, training has a significant effect on employee performance through work motivation. This means that motivation to work as intervening variable in mediating training relationships on employee performance, human resource competence has no significant effect on employee performance through work motivation. This means that the competence of human resources does not vary between variables in mediating the relationship of competence of human resources with employee performance.
