Abstract

Selective laser melting technology has the advantages of high machining precision, complex forming structure, short processing time, and low cost. In this work, the effect of laser power on the microstructure and mechanical properties of AlSi10Mg alloy formed by SLM was studied. The density, microhardness, and elongation of SLMed AlSi10Mg alloy increased with the increase of laser power, while the tensile strength and yield strength increased first and then decreased.
