Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of laparotomy and laparoscopic myomectomy on multiple uterine fibroids. Methods A total of 106 patients with multiple uterine fibroids treated in Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Yuci District People’s Hospital from July 2015 to March 2017 were selected and were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 53 cases in each group. Patients in control group were treated by conventional open myomectomy, and patients in observation group were treated by laparoscopic myomectomy. The operation effect, immune function before and after operation and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in operation time between the two groups (P>0.05). The amount of intraoperative bleeding, the time of ambulation and the hospital stay of observation group were all lower than those of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). After operation, the level of IgA, IgG, IgM, CD3+ and CD4+ in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in control group was higher than that in observation group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Compared with traditional laparotomy, laparoscopic myomectomy can effectively improve effect of the operation, improve the humoral immunity and cellular immune function of the patients with multiple uterine fibroids, and reduce the incidence of complications. It is worthy of popularizing in clinical practice. Key words: Laparotomy hysteromyomectomy; Laparoscopic myomectomy for myoma of uterus; Multiple uterine myoma; Cellular immune function
