Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of laparoscopic operation combined with detail care on prognosis of children with inguinal hernia. Methods 68 children with inguinal hernia who underwent laparoscopic surgery in Xianyang Hospital of Yan'an University from December 2015 to June 2017 were randomly divided into two groups, with 34 cases in each group. Experimental group was given detailed care during the perioperative period of laparoscopic surgery, while control group was given routine care. The postoperative recovery of two groups were compared, including postoperative exhaust time, defecation time, ambulation time, length of time and hospital cost. The occurrence of postoperative complications of two groups were recorded, and the satisfaction of the children's families to the nursing service of two groups was statistically analyzed. Results The postoperative exhaust time, defecation time, ambulation time and length of time of experimental group were significantly shorter than those of control group, and the total hospital cost was lower than that of control group (P<0.05). Postoperative complication and recurrence rate of experimental group were significantly lower than those of control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction of the children's families to the nursing service of experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopy surgery combined with detail care can significantly improve the prognosis of children with inguinal hernia, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, reduce the risk of recurrence, improve the satisfaction of the children's family to nurses, so it is worth popularizing.
