Methods A total of 400 cases of maternal vaginal deliveries in our hospital conditions, were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group used Lamaze breathing and perineum massage combining method, the control group adopted conventional confinements, the two groups of mothers were compared with maternal perineal injury. Results The experimental group intact perineum rate was significantly better(P<0.05);and episiotomy rate, maternal II°laceration, theincidence of the second stage of labor and the postpartum 2h amount of bleeding and the rate of neonatal asphyxia in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusions The Lamaze breathing method combined with perineal massage wears method application can effectively reduce the rate of episiotomy, intact perineum rate, shorten the second stage of labor and reduce postpartum hemorrhage.
