Abstract

Theoretical current-potential curves have been derived that are expressed by dependences Δαβφ=f(I) (Δαβφ is the Galvani potential difference between phases β and α, I is the mean current) describing the transfer of a cation across the interface of two immiscible electrolyte solutions affected by the formation of ion-pairs or complexes under the conditions of the electrolyte dropping electrode. Further, the effect of some components of the two-phase systems considered on the values of the half-wave potentials of the polarographic waves is discussed.
