Abstract

Emergency Medicine Physicians are familiar with giving eligible patients intravenous thrombolytics prior to mechanical thrombectomy for treatment of ischemic strokes. Several studies have been performed with both the 0.25 mg/kg dose or 0.45 mg/kg dose of tenecteplase, which has resulted in varying guidelines in regards to dosing. The goal of this study was to determine which dose of tenecteplase is more effective within a 4.5 hour window of last well known time.
